Name: Badr Hari

Birth date: 8th of December, 1984, in Amsterdam

Nationality: Dutch/Moroccan

Status: Legend

Fighting style: kickboxing

Debut: Made his pro debut in 2002 against Willy Schneider in Amsterdam, whom he beat by TKO in the 3rd round.

Style: Very aggressive, forward and pressure style. Leaves his guard down often, tough, yet manages his height and reach very well and is able to KO his opponents despite this error. Over time, his chin let him down, though, and hasn’t won a fight between 2015 and 2025.

His greatest wins: Gokhan Saki (twice), Semmy Schilt, Ray Sefo, Peter Aerts, Alexey Ignashov, Ruslan Karaev, Errol Zimmerman, Alistair Overeem, Hong Man Choi, Glaube Feitosa, Stefan Leko, Zabit Samedov (twice).

His most notable win was in 2009 against Semmy Schilt, when won the It’s Showtime Heavyweight Championship.

Great fighters he never fought: Daniel Ghita, Jerome le Banner, Ernesto Hoost.

Conclusion: He had success when he was the aggressor, but he wasn’t the greatest receiver and showed a lack of heart a lot of times, especially towards the end of his career.
