The 32 years-old Serbian, born in Novi Sad (Serbia) on 8th of August 1993 was the revelation of 2025’s Heavyweight kickboxing, having no less than 6 fights this year (and only one loss, a split decision against Nico Pereira Horta at Glory 100 Rotterdam).
The Serbian distinguishes himself from other fighters with his confidence in throwing combos, creative spinning attacks, with his bravery to fight from the heaviest guy in the Glory Heavyweight Tournament (Nabil Khachab, 162.3 kg at 1.88 m, whom he defeated at Glory 99 Rotterdam) to the tallest guy in the Glory Heavyweight Tournament (Colin George, around 120 kg at 2.06, whom he defeated at Glory 103 Rotterdam), while being very undersized for a heavyweight (weighing only 99.3 kg at 1.89 m).
At Glory 99 Rotterdam he shocked the world by defeating the Behemoth Nabil Khachab, who has 1.88 m and weighs over 160 kg by split decision. Miloš Cvjetićanin managed to greatly avoid the pressure of the giant Moroccan-Dutch kickboxer, by using angles, pivots, lowkicks and very good uppercuts throughout the whole fight.
In the next fight, the semifinal of the Glory 100 Rotterdam Heavyweight Tournament, he managed to dispose fast of the Turkish fighter Cem Caceres, who was undefeated in his Glory career, by breaking his nose with a devastating knee in the first round, rendering Cem unable to breath and therefore to fight.
A little setback happens in the final of the Glory 100 Rotterdam Heavyweight Tournament, when he faces another giant, Nico Pereira Horta (“Big Sexy”), a fighter that’s 1.98 m tall and weighs 137.6 kg, while Miloš barely weighed above 100 kg. While Miloš Cvjetićanin was in the fight the whole time and countered Nico Pereira Horta with great hooks, he managed to get outpointed and lost by split decision, even though the fight was that close that could have gone either way.
After this tournament, Glory decided to give the young Serbian another chance to qualify for the Final Heavyweight Tournament, which will be composed of 8 fighters.
He was booked to fight next, at Glory 103, against Colin George (120 kg and 2.06 m tall), the tallest man in the Glory Heavyweight Division.
The smart Serbian beat the giant from Suriname easily over 3 rounds, scoring a unanimous decision win. He managed to control the giant with relentless pressure, never letting Colin George breath a second, using against him tools like hooks, jabs, knees and low kicks.
After this great victory, Miloš Cvjetićanin was booked in a final 4-man Heavyweight Qualifier for the 8-man Heavyweight Tournament, where he would have to win 2 fights in one night to win the whole Tournament.
Therefore, he was booked against another prospect, Alin Nechita from Romania, who is the shortest fighter in the Heavyweight Tournament (1.82 m and he had 107 kg against Miloš Cvjetićanin at Glory 104 Rotterdam). The brave Romanian was no match for the experienced and creative Serbian, who toyed with Alin Nechita over the course of 3 rounds, dropping him in the 3rd round with a spectacular spinning wheel kick on the head, that left even the Glory commentators shocked. Against Nechita, Miloš managed to score 3 uppercuts in a row, which is extremely rare in a high level kickboxing fight, constantly tired down the bulky Romanian by often letting him hit few and then scoring a dozen of punches and kicks over him. After 3 rounds, Miloš Cvjetićanin defeated Alin Nechita by unanimous decision and moved into the final of the 4-man Tournament.
In the final, Miloš Cvjetićanin faced his fellow Serbian, Rade Opacic (2m, 112 kg), who qualified in the final by beating the Congolese fighter Mike Kena.
The final fight between Miloš and Rade was pretty boring, with both fighters looking tired from their previous semifinal fights. Nothing major happened, yet Miloš Cvjetićanin seemed to have scored more points, as the judges saw him the winner by split decision.
In conclusion, while Miloš Cvjetićanin is one of the shortest and lightest in this Heavyweight Tournament, his sheer heart, creative technique, endurance and calm show that he is a threat to any of the remaining fighters in the 8-man Heavyweight Tournament which Glory will organize in 2026.
In my opinion, he can beat everybody, including the champion Rico Verhoeven, who hasn’t lost a Glory fight in almost 13 years.
